For educators (teachers, instructors, and homeschooling teachers) who live or work in McLennan County, you may be issued a teacher card to provide additional classroom materials for your classroom. To obtain a Teacher Card, documentation must be provided. Patrons can use the card to borrow items for educational materials only and must be renewed every year with valid documentation.
There are many different online resources for early literacy - and we know it can be overwhelming. The following apps, blogs/newsletters, videos, and websites are some of the materials we would recommend to learn more about learning to read (for homeschool teachers!)!
