WEEK 1
Pick a room or other specific place you know well and describe it in detail so a reader feels as though they're in the room. Make sure to include your five senses: hearing, seeing, touching, smelling and tasting. Remember that although all adjectives are descriptive--not all descriptive words are adjectives.
WEEK 2
Let’s just practice writing. It is important to get yourself in the habit of writing a little every day so today set a timer for 5 minutes and free-write. This means you can write about anything you want. It doesn’t have to mean anything or go together. The only requirement is that it be in sentences- not just random words.
